By Jeremi

There are a few things that you need to consider before buying a new personal laptop.

Number 1: Your Budget, how much are you willing to spend? Once you decided, stick to your budget.

Number 2: Purpose, what will you be using the laptop for? If you only use it for basic tasks like browsing the internet or checking emails, a cheap one will suffice. However, if you use it for tasks like video editing or gaming, you will need a much more powerful laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

Number 3: Specifications, Pay extra attention to the processor, RAM, Hard Drive, and graphic card. The higher cost of the components means it will become more expensive, but you will have a much better performance.

Number 4: Size, laptops come in various sizes, from 11 to 17 inches. Smaller means more portable and easier to pack, but a larger laptop has a larger screen and more power. Choose a laptop that suits your needs.

Number 5: Battery Life, if you will need to use your laptop on the go or while traveling, check how long the battery will last. Look for a laptop that will run for at least 8 hours on a single charge.

Number 6: Keyboard, make sure the keyboard is comfortable to use. Check if the keyboard is backlit, it can be helpful if you often work in a low-light environment.

Number 7: Reviews or asking an expert. Reading reviews from other users and tech experts to learn about the specific laptop’s performance, reliability, and quality.

In summary, it’s essential to consider your budget, usage, specifications, size, battery life, keyboards, and also check different reviews when choosing a laptop.
